第80屆威尼斯國際電影節(jié)(2023年8月30日至9月9日)威尼斯雙年展XR擴(kuò)展現(xiàn)實(shí)單元“威尼斯沉浸”項(xiàng)目選拔現(xiàn)已完成。官方活動將于距離威尼斯麗都不遠(yuǎn)的威尼斯沉浸島( Lazzaretto Vecchio)舉行 ,日期如下:

威尼斯沉浸式展覽完全致力于沉浸式媒體,包括所有XR創(chuàng)意表達(dá)方式:360°視頻和任意長度的XR作品,包括裝置和虛擬世界。
第80屆威尼斯國際電影節(jié)威尼斯沉浸式單元將在HTC Vive和VRChat的支持下舉行。
威尼斯沉浸式展將展示來自25個國家的44個項(xiàng)目以及Worlds Gallery部分的24件作品:
28個參賽項(xiàng)目
10個非競賽項(xiàng)目–Best of Venice Immersive (自上屆威尼斯國際電影節(jié)以來在其他地方發(fā)行或首映的最佳作品的國際評選)
學(xué)院電影雙年展–雙年展期間開發(fā)的6個項(xiàng)目:1個項(xiàng)目得益于第七屆的資助而制作, 5個項(xiàng)目是在前幾屆國際研討會上開發(fā)。
Worlds Gallery精選了24個虛擬空間,以沉浸式導(dǎo)游帶領(lǐng)的世界啤酒花之旅呈現(xiàn)。用戶將被引導(dǎo)穿過Worlds Gallery選定的VRChat空間,這是由來自世界各地的獨(dú)立藝術(shù)家創(chuàng)建的虛擬沉浸式生態(tài)系統(tǒng)。
威尼斯國際電影節(jié)是世界上最早對虛擬現(xiàn)實(shí)表現(xiàn)出興趣的電影節(jié)之一。2016年VR劇院的開發(fā)引起了威尼斯電影節(jié)的極大興趣。從2017年開始,威尼斯雙年展推出了首屆虛擬現(xiàn)實(shí)作品競賽,該競賽截至2019年在麗都島舉辦了三屆,由國際評審團(tuán)進(jìn)行評審。威尼斯VR在線展已舉辦兩屆(2020年和2021年)代表了新的承諾和新的挑戰(zhàn),以確保威尼斯國際電影節(jié)即使在需要保持社交距離的情況下也能繼續(xù)保持這種新藝術(shù)形式體驗(yàn)。2022年,該部分更名為“威尼斯沉浸式展”。
威尼斯電影節(jié)的授權(quán)參觀者將有機(jī)會觀看陣容中的所有影片。還將為未獲得電影節(jié)認(rèn)證的感興趣游客提供特殊的威尼斯沉浸式通行證。威尼斯沉浸式展訂閱面向18歲以上人群,有兩種形式:

第78屆威尼斯國際電影節(jié)官方日前公布了VR競賽單元的入圍名單,繼「無主之城VR」和「殺死大明星」之后,愛奇藝自制沉浸式VR互動內(nèi)容「遺愿」再度入圍。
作為歐洲三大電影節(jié)(威尼斯國際電影節(jié)、戛納國際電影節(jié)、柏林國際電影節(jié))中最早設(shè)立VR競賽單元的電影節(jié),威尼斯電影節(jié)于2017年起開始設(shè)立VR 競賽單元。在「遺愿」之前,愛奇藝自制VR內(nèi)容「無主之城VR」和「殺死大明星」分別在2018年和2020年入圍威尼斯國際電影節(jié)的VR競賽單元,后者摘得“最佳VR故事片”,成為中國大陸首部在國際A級電影節(jié)獲獎的VR作品。
據(jù)了解,「遺愿」采用沉浸式戲劇的多線平行敘事結(jié)構(gòu),支持360°全景觀察和互動功能,在8K高清視頻與杜比音效共同構(gòu)建的沉浸氛圍中,觀眾作為屏幕前的“名偵探”,將根據(jù)個人判斷自由切換不同場景,逐步解鎖案情直至真相水落石出。
劇情方面,作為愛奇藝“罪案現(xiàn)場”系列VR互動視頻的第二部,「遺愿」講述了一位藝術(shù)品商人身亡后, 六位遺產(chǎn)繼承者依次登場,在密閉空間中,每個人不同的面目就逐一呈現(xiàn)在鏡頭前,而現(xiàn)場再次引發(fā)了死亡事件……
據(jù)悉,「遺愿」將于8月中旬上線,可通過愛奇藝VR APP進(jìn)行體驗(yàn)。
